Studio or 1-bedroom apartment in Hurghada: which is better?

Studio or 1-bedroom apartment? The right choice depends on use, budget, rental plans and length of stay.

Many buyers compare studios with 1-bedroom apartments. Both can make sense, but they solve different needs.

A studio is usually cheaper, easier to furnish and practical for short stays. For singles, couples on a smaller budget or buyers entering the market for the first time, a studio can be attractive.

A 1-bedroom apartment offers more privacy and flexibility. Buyers who stay for longer periods, spend winters in Hurghada or host guests often benefit from a separate bedroom.

For rental, the better choice depends on the target guest and compound. Studios can work well for short trips. 1-bedroom apartments often appeal to couples and longer-stay guests who expect more comfort.

Do not compare only square metres. Balcony, view, light, furniture, air-conditioning, internet, pool, beach access and management are often more important than the formal room count.

My advice: do not automatically buy the larger unit. Buy the unit that fits your use, budget and target audience. Sometimes a very good studio is stronger than a weak 1-bedroom apartment — and sometimes the opposite is true.
